The whole app, permanently. Every gesture and every view, tagging in your own words, grouped tag search, the search that works from a description, and snapshot export and restore. Nothing is held back to make the subscription look better.
One thing: your devices update each other without you thinking about it. What crosses between them is tags, dates and fingerprints, measured in kilobytes. Your photos never do.
Your purchase and everything you have organized stay exactly as they are. Your devices simply stop updating each other automatically. You can still export a snapshot of your whole organization to a single file whenever you like and load it onto any device that can reach it, because that export belongs to the one-time purchase.
No. Your tags attach to a fingerprint of each picture rather than to a filename or a folder, so the same photo is recognisable on the new device even if it arrived there by a different route. Restore from a snapshot, or turn on Sync and let it carry across.
No. The originals never leave your device. Even searching by description happens locally, which is why the whole thing still works in airplane mode.
Only for sync. The app itself needs no account: buy it and it works, offline, on its own. Turning on the optional subscription asks for an email address, because something has to know which tags are yours, and it signs you in with a code sent to that address rather than a password. The address is used for that and nothing else. It is never used for marketing and never sold.
Both the App Store and Google Play have a refund process, and we would rather you use it than keep something you are not using. Purchases go through the stores, so the refund does too, and we never see your payment details.
Not yet. It runs on iPhone and Android today, and a desktop release for Windows, Mac and Linux is slated for September 15, 2026. The organizing you do on a phone now is organizing the desktop will already recognise when it arrives.
